Spooky Halloween Poems

What a wonderful Halloween. Student’s Council put on a fabulous haunted house and an afternoon of fun. I have posted pictures to student’s portfolios. Students in the intermediate class listened to a spooky story and then wrote poems. Here is a selection of the poems!

Its Halloween
Its time to go
We’ll get some treats
But watch out though!
Monsters jump
And monsters creep
They always love some
Good fresh meat!
Oceana.

The wind is blowing
The moon is glowing
And candies are flowing
And a pumpkin needs atowing.

If you are out in the woods tonight
You will be scared….
Someone is watching , you will be watched.
La La La La
AAAAAAAh!

Zombies
Oh NO!
The world has turned into zombie walkers.
Zombies everywhere!
When people are walking to get candy
Then all of a sudden they are bitten by a zombie.
So many people turning into a zombie in one blink.
I’m just standing there so scared that I might die.
Then……BOOOM
I’m on the ground! Boom a tree falls
And I get bitten!
Zombies!!!!!

Boo
Boo!!! People with spooky costumes saying Boo.
Everywhere people laying on the ground with so much fierce in their eyes.
People running to get candy.
Boo!

Ghosts
Ghosts are spooky
Having you scream
Oh NO RUN!
Scary beings
Transparent and making you scream
Spooky ghosts, spooky ghosts

Halloween
Pumpkins glow in the night
Giving you quite a fright
Scary Ghosts in the air
Wailing banshees do not care
Its Halloween! All Scary!
Witches knocking on our door
Princesses really sore
Scary thing all over me
I just want to weep.
Its Halloween!

The black spider swooped
Down attacking me in
The bright moonlight

The spider crawled down
The vine bring me
Right in my eyes
Boo!

Once upon a winter’s night
There was an awful scare.
To the ones who trick or treat and those who were a scare so if you’re out on the streets tonight
You’re sure for a big surprise, because all the monsters all over the world gather here tonight. So if you go into the streets tonight. Bring friends and trick or treat!
Paul.
