NISS Plumbing Challenge

November 22 brought the Intermediate class to Port McNeill.  Students were given a mini tour of the school and then set up to do some plumbing challenges.

Station One: Putting together a square pipe with fittings that need to be water proof to 80 PSI.

Station Two: Using pipe to move water out of the shop station.

Station Three: Putting together copper pipe and soldering and blow torching the joints!

The students looked like they had a good time and I did too. Our class would like to thank the teachers, Mr. Brahman, Guy Carlson and Mrs. MacArthur for putting together this workshop, as well as the students from NISS supporting us.
