September is here and school has finally started. We held Intermediate Elections for Student’s Council already. The following people have filled the following positions: Kennedy, President; Mia, Vice President; Sophie, Secretary; Brooklynn, Treasurer; Jacob, Sports Rep and Koa/Linden grade 4/5 reps. These wonderful students hold events during the year and collect money from recycling cans to provide prizes. They are also in charge of the school composting program. I am excited to see what this group of young people will do!

Students have started a new Math notebook. They will need to sort their work in to several categories. Daily Quiz, Math Notes, Tests and Other. They also have a hard file portfolio and a digital portfolio to add work samples. A new Math project as well as homework sheets starts next week.

The Grade 4’s get to spend time in two classrooms. The Intermediates share Ms. Lansdowne and Ms. Mckee as their teachers.

Students are already starting to train for Cross Country Run! Way to Go.

Several packages of paperwork have gone home requiring signatures. Please sign and return!
